Do Egyptian citizens need a visa to Vietnam?

Visitors from most countries, including Egyptian passport holders, need to obtain a visa for travelling to Vietnam. Instead of visiting the Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate, they can easily apply for Vietnam visa on arrival and pick up a Vietnam visa when arriving in a Vietnam international airport.

Vietnam visa on arrival for Egyptian citizens

Vietnam visa on arrival is available for Egyptian nationals. The stay is usually short with a period of 30 days for tourism purpose and 90 days for business purpose.  By obtaining a visa in this way, they have to get a visa approval letter before traveling to Vietnam.

Documents required to get a tourist visa:

• A soft file of valid passport which is valid at least 6 months from the departure date to Vietnam

• Hotel booking

• Return ticket booking

• Tentative itinerary in Vietnam

Documents required for a business visa (with Vietnam based sponsor company)

• A valid passport copy which is valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of arrival in Vietnam

• A business certificate of Vietnam based sponsor company

• Form NA2

• Form NA16

• Tentative business plan in Vietnam

Vietnam visa on arrival procedures for Egyptian passport holders:

On arrival, Egyptian travelers should head to the window marked “landing visa”. The immigration window is only for people who already have the visa. If the travelers haven’t  already filled the application, it is advised to complete the visa on arrival form by the window.

Once completed, the traveler should submit:

• A valid passport

• A copy of visa approval letter

• Vietnamese visa application form

• 02 passport sized photos

• Stamping fee in American cash

After providing all the documentation, travelers are asked to wait. The name of the traveler will be called when their application has been completely reviewed and their visa sticker is glued on their passport.

Vietnam visa on arrival fee for Egyptian citizens

 There are two types of visa fee include visa service fee and stamping fee

• Visa service fee: it’s paid to apply for visa approval letter. Please kindly contact us for more details about this kind of fee.

• Visa stamping fee: it’s paid on arrival in cash to get visa stamped on your passport. It costs 25usd in cash for single entry and 50usd in cash for multiple entry which is valid up 3 moths.
